Here at Liberal America, we write about McDonald’s often. Unfortunately, it’s usually not favorable. As educated liberals, we’re not generally fans of fast food in the first place. Throw in their low wages and unfair treatment of employees and it’s a total deal breaker. Fact: the only time I eat at McDonald’s is when a McDouble and Fries is all I can afford, at which point I have a very UnHappy Meal.
However, we have to hand it to McDonald’s Canada. They seem a little less horrible than the McDonald’s here in the U.S., and for sure they’re more transparent about what goes on behind the scenes. A customer recently asked:
