Very little words are needed here. None, in fact. The video speaks for itself. But it bugs my editors if I just post a video with no verbiage. So here you go.

This sucks. War sucks.

Yes, this is a video that was produced by Save The Children UK. This little girl is an actress. But don’t for one minute forget that this — and worse — happens every minute and every second of every day, all over the world. From their site:

It may not be happening here but in Syria the horror portrayed in our latest video is all too real. Three years of civil war has devastated the lives of an entire generation of children. It’s cost the lives of more than 11,000 children and turned more than 1 million into refugees. It has subjected them to trauma, indiscriminate shelling and even torture.

The most vulnerable children are those who remain inside Syria, who risk death, illness, abuse and exploitation on a daily basis. The humanitarian needs are incalculable but despite? the widespread insecurity, our teams have so far helped 230,000 children and family members with food, safe water, medicine, and shelter.

War sucks.
