You Can Now Buy A Corsage Made Of KFC Chicken. No, This Is Not Satire

To continue our unplanned and unscheduled weird food theme this week, we are reporting that just in time for proms, weddings, etc…this spring, KFC has introduced a corsage made of Original Recipe chicken. This is not a satirical article. Really. The video:

The corsage doesn’t come with the chicken. With your corsage order (it’s $20), you receive a $5 KFC gift certificate that you can use to buy chicken (Original Recipe or whatever you like) and affix a drumstick to your corsage yourself. From the KFC website, via the page of the florist who provides the corsage:

Looking for a corsage that will make your date’s eyes light up and her mouth water?

This KFC drumstick corsage is the Secret Recipe to making sure this year’s dance will be one you both remember.

Don’t delay. Order today! Only a limited edition of 100 chicken corsages are available.

Just like the last piece of chicken in the bucket, when they’re gone, they’re gone.?

NOTE:?Chicken not included (duh.). Each corsage kit includes a $5 KFC gift check, so you can customize your corsage with Original Recipe, Extra Crispy or Kentucky Grilled Chicken. Whichever best matches her dress.?Local corsages will have fresh baby’s breath and out-of-town corsages will have silk baby’s breath.

This seriously had to happen. Why? We don’t know. It just had to happen, OK?
