Seriously, Mike Francesa, a WFAN Radio host, does not understand the concept?of paternity leave?

Is it all just a hoax ? Is Francesa?trying to acquire viewers for better ratings?for his WFAN radio show?on Fox Sports? Francesa rose a stink last Wednesday?on his radio show about NY Mets?second baseman Daniel Murphy taking three days off for paternity leave. Francesca?stated that?he is unable to understand what he could be doing with his wife, Tori, while she is in the hospital recovering. Jezebel quotes Mike Francesa as saying, “whaddya gonna do, sit there and look at your wife in the hospital bed for two days?” No, silly Mike, he is going to bond with his newborn of course!?Anyone with a child of their own?can assess the benefits of a father bonding with his child at birth. Daniel Murphy shows a gauging amount of masculinity for his decision. Many men will look?down on him and think he is less of a man. Murphy chose?to withstand the stigma of paternity leave and took?the time off despite fans disappointments, which is rather commendable.

There?is also proof that a child benefits mentally and physically?from a strong bond with dad; a?child with both confidence and self esteem among other wholesome character traits.

Most of us would understand the benefits of men taking a paternity leave.?Why can’t?Francesa? Is he?really that ignorant? Does he?REALLY not grasp the concept of paternity leave for men or is it that he is highly aware of how controversy and ignorance can cause a frenzy in the media? Which in turn would give him better ratings for his job?acquired on Fox Sports.

Some could perceive Mike Francesa as nothing more than a bully and like most bullies they thrive for?the reaction of others. Although, if you ignore the bully?long enough he tends to shut up and?go away.
