Racist ‘Nightmare’ Email Forwarded From Walker Staffer Surfaces

No one should be surprised by the racism coming out of the Republican party these days. After all, there has just been?so much?of it that it really is par for the course at this point. However, this is a particularly nasty bit that we just can’t help reporting on.

An email forwarded from Wisconsin governor Scott Walker’s then- chief-of-staff Thomas Nardelli to his deputy chief of staff, Kelly Rindfleisch, containing highly bigoted content has surfaced. The email was forwarded in 2010, to Rindfleisch and other “undisclosed recipients.” This suggests that perhaps Walker’s office had a field day with this. The message detailed a “nightmare” in which the storyteller wakes up black, gay, Jewish, poor, and disabled, among other things.

The email’s discovery came as part of another probe into Scott Walker’s time as county executive. American Bridge, one of the Democratic groups probing emails from Walker and his staff, uncovered this particular email. These investigations are known as the John Doe investigations. While the email itself is old- it is from 2010- it’s exposure is important now, because it shows what kind of bigots the potential GOP Presidential nominee surrounds himself with. Further, it is likely that Walker holds these views himself. If you are appalled at the content of the image above, by all means read the rest of the bigotry for yourself here, courtesy of?Buzzfeed.
