Command to Drones…..TAKE OUT THAT OKRA!!

FellsGarden12

It was a quiet and peaceful day in the Garden of Eden Community. This sustainable community has been growing their own food, coming together to provide basic necessities and supplying food, shelter and sustainability classes to the public for free since 2009. But, on THIS day, the State of Texas arrived to shut them down.

Quinn Eaker, one of the residents, explains how unmanned drones were deployed and heavily armed SWAT teams handcuffed them at gun point, in what can only be described as an intimidation exercise.

In the process of handing out various citations for city code violations, a single, unrelated, arrest was made for an outstanding traffic violation. Also, their crops were destroyed in the process. Apparently, blackberries, lamb’s quarters and okra, when not purchased at Whole Foods, will quickly take one down the path to anarchy.

The community mantra is simple: ?The Garden of Eden?is a New Paradigm EcoVillage?located in Arlington, Texas.?Here, we live freely, abundantly, and easily.?Our purpose is to share with the world?the living reality of A Sustainable Community?so that others may?open?to?embrace LIVING LIFE?FULLY, in THRIVAL.? ? The Garden of Eden community

THRIVAL: A state of inner joy that defies circumstances.

Shellie Smith, the landowner, is looking for honorable resolution to the situation. As no crime was committed on the part of the community, she is hoping the City of Arlington will be held accountable for trespass, robbery and other crimes by a court of law.

Time will tell.
