BuzzFeed?recently asked four women who are not professional models to participate in an experiment: pose for a professional photo shoot and then watch as the photos were retouched by a Photoshop expert.?Most women (and men?) are conditioned by society to feel they need to look like the women on magazine covers in order to be attractive. You would think that these women would love their retouched photos. But not so much.
Their reactions may surprise you. Their conclusions:
“This is how I always wanted to see myself. But now that I see it, I’m questioning why I ever wanted to look like that.”
?Once you take away your imperfections, there’s not much left of who you really are.?
