House Democrats Demand Solution, Give Obama Friday Deadline

There is little doubt that the Affordable Care Act has flaws, but on Wednesday more signs of unrest within the Democratic Party became apparent. House Democrats demanded the President?and his administration find a reasonable solution by this Friday or else they would be willing to back a Republican driven resolve.

The Friday deadline coincides with a vote that Republicans have called for in order to extend this year’s policies into 2014. So far no alternative solutions have been offered by the?Obama administration.

Since 2010 President Obama has continuously claimed that individuals would be able to keep their current plans under more affordable coverage. However, a few million policies have been cancelled while others have had cost increases from some insurance companies. On Tuesday, former President Bill Clinton said that the President should devise a way for the people to be able to continue under their current plans without change.

As of now, there seems to be bipartisan resistance to the health law that takes place in less than 7 weeks with no end in sight.
