Maeby’s This Week In Tea Party Lunacy 11/13: Top 10 Bizarre Incidents

1) Republican Congressman Trent Franks, of Arizona’s 8th District, will be joining Larry ?The Racist Guy? Klayman, at the Reclaim America Now Coalition rally later in November.

Congressman Franks has called President Obama:

An enemy of humanity.

Klayman, the guy who last month, during the disastrous GOP orchestrated Government shutdown, staged a rally where he appeared with Senator Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin to call for the people to wage a second American revolution while also calling on President Obama to put down the Quran and leave the White House. ?Joining Congressman Franks and Larry Klayman at this rally will be accused Teabully liar, James Farah of World Net Daily, and homophobic radio personality, Bradlee Dean.

Travis Gettys reports for the Raw Story that the rally will call for the overthrow of President Obama.? Careful gentlemen, this does seem to be crossing the line into chargeable sedition. With these, along with many other well-known Teabully personalities, expected to join the group rant against reason, this Teabully rally holds great promise of being a special kind of stupid.

2) Speaking of a special kind of stupid, Republican Congressman Joe Barton, of the 6th Texas District, makes our list this week for opining that because wind is a finite resource,?we should not be using it as a source for clean, renewable electrical power.? ? The Congressman said that:

It would slow the winds down which would cause the temperature to go up.

But what do you expect from a person who cites the Biblical story of the great flood as proof that humans play no role in climate change?

3) Making this week’s list is State Delegate, Don H. Dwyer, of Maryland’s 31st? District, who pleaded guilty to a charge of drunken boating,?resulting in a crash which caused serious injuries to Representative Dwyer, and which fractured the skull of a five year old girl.

Now, we all know that Teabully people believe in going it alone, pulling themselves up by their bootstraps, and taking personal responsibility for their actions.? But this guy is having none of that.? Representative Dwyer, who has been separated from his wife since November, 2011, has blamed his marital problems, as well as his drinking problems; on feelings of betrayal he has as a result of his fellow Representatives in the Maryland State Legislature who recently voted to legalize same sex marriage.

Proof once again that when it comes to many in the Teabully Party, the damage that they do to others is often the fault of someone else.

4) Doug Phillips, a leader in Christian Reconstruction and the homeschool movement, proponent of male dominion over women,?and President of the Texas based? Vision Forum Ministries, has resigned and the non-organization will close.?Phillips has admitted to having an extra-marital relationship which he called:

Inappropriately romantic and affectionate.

While Mr. Phillips did not admit to knowing the other woman in the Biblical sense, he also referred to his conduct as:

Hypocritical

Well at least he didn’t operate a boat while intoxicated nor blame his actions on legalizing gay marriage.

5) Pat Robertson, the great and powerful Televangelist and Republican candidate for President from the past, is back on the list. According to Robertson, it may not be biology that compels a person to have same sex attraction.? No, it just might be that your child has been molested at school by a coach?or otherwise has been recruited to be homosexual.? Interesting how in one breath he can speak of it being natural to be attracted to the opposite sex, but in the next breath attribute a sexual attraction to influences from the environment.

6) The sign outside the Valley Baptist Tabernacle, which promotes itself as a fundamental Bible believing church, located in Palmer, Arkansas, was photographed proclaiming:

Vote, And Remember, True Christians Don’t Vote Liberal.

It is a free country, and this and other churches have the freedom to select the messages to be put on their signs and billboards adorning their property.? But how is it that this Church’s Pastor, Michael Hull, has the come to possess the divine inspiration to disconnect Liberalism from Christianity? It would seem much more likely that one’s particular political ideology would be irrelevant.

7) Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, made a recent appearance on the Fox News Network morning show, ?Fox and Friends?.? Speaking about the many court challenges to the ACA requirement that all insurance policies provide contraception coverage without a co-pay, Mr. Perkins opined that the:

Obama administration, I believe, all evidence would suggest, they’re on a search-and-destroy mission?as it pertains to religious liberty.

Apparently, according to Perkins, the Pilgrims came to America so they wouldn’t be forced to have contraception coverage that their religious beliefs would prevent them from using.? But you know how weak those Pilgrims could be.? Perhaps Mr. Perkins is concerned that the members of the flock might actually use the coverage? And sometimes there isn’t a good stake and a fire around when you need them.

8) Erik Rush, the frequent flyer on the Fox News Network, has previously made the weekly crazy list.?Mr. Rush is back on the list this week. ? Writing for the World Net Daily of the possibility, that cannot be dismissed, and his audience should know that he believes the Obama Administration just might enlist the help of ?certain starry-eyed, Obama-worshiping journalists? to somehow promote present racially charged incidents, such as the Trayvon Martin killing, as a precursor to a:

False flag racial incident or incidents that are in the works?

Thank you Mr.Rush for the nonsensical hypothetical question that most certainly will find it’s way to the rest of the right wing noise machine which would love to report the claim that the Obama Administration has staged hate crimes.

9)The 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the ?Night of Broken Glass?,?was somberly remembered in Germany last weekend.? The night of attacks on Jews and Jewish property throughout Germany and Austria, considered in historian as a launching point for the nightmare that?would become known in history as the Holocaust. ?The World Net Daily dishonored the memory of the millions who died with a commentary by Ellis Washington appearing November 1, 2013.? Mr. Washington wrote that President Obama and the Progressives of today, have, since the inauguration of this President, created an:

Existential book burning, happening on a much greater scale by the Democrat Socialist Party, a scale the Nationalist Socialist Party could only dream of 80 years ago under Hitler and the Nazis. In modern times today, leftists creates this book burning atmosphere by deconstructing, perverting and destroying conservative ideas, particularly those out of the Judeo-Christian tradition of intellectual thought ? without lighting one match or igniting one torch. Hitler would be pleased!

No words need be added.

10) The irrelevant, easily confused, and sometimes entertaining, Sarah Palin, has been out on the road mugging for anyone and everyone who is willing to give her face time, while she promotes her latest book, which promotes itself on the cover as??Protecting The Heart of Christmas.??Sista Sarah ends this week’s list.

Appearing yesterday on NBC’s Today Show, during an interview with Matt Lauer, the former half-term Alaska Governor, was asked to explain the Tea Party alternative to Obamacare, at first, Palin did not answer that question.? When Lauer pressed for an answer, Palin said this:

The plan is to allow those things that had been proposed over many years to reform a health care system in America that certainly does need more help so that there’s more competition, there’s less tort reform threat, there’s less trajectory of the cost increases? And those plans have been proposed over and over again. And what thwarts those plans? It’s the far left. It’s President Obama and his supporters who will not allow the Republicans to usher in free market, patient-centered, doctor-patient relationship links to reform health care!

And that string of disjointed pie in the sky conclusions looking for facts means what?

The right wing, especially those older white people blinded by their lust for the woman, mistakenly believes that Sarah Palin has knowledge of political and economic issues. While Palin’s brain does function, evidenced by her ability to walk upright and to speak, it is a wonder that even Palin knows what she means, let alone innocent listeners to the word jumble that spills from her moving mouth.
