Raking leaves may be near the top of least fun chores. It’s not that it’s that difficult a job; the dread may stem from the fact that the task is often one of the first ones that kids are able to do on their own. How would you feel if you raked a pile of leaves that’s as big as a small hill — in a yard that’s as big as some parks — and then a dog came behind you and spread the leaves back over the yard? Kent Petersen?doesn’t seem to mind one bit.
Butch, Petersen’s Siberian Husky gave his master a helping hand…er…paw when he proceeded to jump into the pile of leaves. And jump into them again. And bury himself delightedly in them. And run around the yard as fast as he can and jump into the leaves again.
