Ok Kyle, you need an outline: (yes, I am talking to myself… I am just going to throw everything down including the kitchen sink, and see what sticks. I can already tell it going to be way too long and so far is not really feeling like all the moving parts are from the same machine. I am sure if any of you guys at L.A are reading this, you are probably wondering what the hell I am doing? Yep, I am as well. I am not even sure it needs the Christine O’Donnell video but I at least need to try and if it does not work, I’ll toss it. I still love the ‘shark and man’ stuff, but maybe it’s cause I am still so inspired by the video. I am hoping I can write something as deep to go with it or it will show- the message in the video is already so powerful, I can see how I could be a risk of my metaphor not coming through. Also not that I am making excuses but I could not make higher that a C- in any english class I ever took. So I suppose I kinda ‘self taught’ myself how to get my thoughts down to paper. And you know my motto, “Why take the easy road when you can ascend an impossible mountain?” And to be honest, I kind of like it…. I believe the more I challenge myself here, the stronger my writing will become. And I am really ready for that ?clarity and followthrough which I see other writers exude. It will be nice when I too have that. But we are quite a ways from there, so in the meantime, I am just going to get my stories down, anyway I can.”

Let’s take a step back and just get down all your notes and ideas you are playing with to build the emotional journey of your story naturally… then ?you can adjust actual order of what is is you are trying to say. And maybe then, you can actually just say it. Just pretend this is a song you are writing and when you get overwhelmed, come back to the top and read this again and remind yourself that you know what you are doing- even though you have never done it before. ?Oh and “no”, I am not going to submit something that looks like a coloring book. I just use the colors to help me navigate around and find my place.. It will all be nice an black when I think it almost done.?
Not sure I want to start with this quote but it does ?kind of distill the essence of my ‘Why’… why ?I feel so driven to tell my truth- whether it be writing, ranting ?and raging, one theme is constant, it’s about Politics, Christianity and our Planet Earth. And “no”, I don’t believe the Right is the opposite side to the same coin. If I am brutally honest with myself, I see the two factions of our political landscape as differently as I see night and day. I truly do believe the mind of the Left was created to Illuminate and sadly I sometimes believe the Right was put here to test our stamina, courageousness and determination to spread the power of Love.

So what is my story about? How is it newsworthy? Will my readers feel entertained? Will this story succeed in my main goal in writing this piece- that being; Introducing myself to a politically minded liberal audience as a Storyteller. One they will seek out with intention. And I love bells and whistles, so I think I need some amazing videos to make this pop. I have two videos and at least one image as my focal points- And I want all three of them to subconsciously nod back to the title of my piece. That way, what was probably just ‘clicked’ on out of a “WTF is this about?” moment of weakness, becomes an “ah ha,, of course” by the end. When my audience hopefully comes away feeling like the piece could not have had any other title. And I sorta have a little trick to make that happen… I try to create a corresponding ‘soft nod’ showing my reader that each ‘chapter’ answers one of the ‘Crack-r-Jacks’ in my headline- my ‘bait on the hook’ words, I guess you would call them. ?I have three of them actually I believe will make it impossible to not trigger an emotional surge of “curiosity”. ?That ?iswhy I ?call these words my ?’Crack-r-Jacks’… cause they are kind of addicting. Still don’t know what order I will do them in but I think I will start with the shark as it’s timeless, then jump to the past with Christine O’Donnell and the “I am not a witch, I am you.” political campaign ad from 2010.
1. Abyss: ?that is how you will get to your video with the hot chick riding the great white shark. This is the heart of the piece… you want your readers to get all reverent and in awe of this magnificent display of what is possible if you trust yourself, find true freedom in the letting go of your prejudices and preconceived mind-set surrounding what you believed “evil” to be.??I will use this as a metaphor about the true nature of being equal ?of how both Right and Left need to meet in the middle to find the place where they are equal… start of by being really optimistic and how you can see how if we only applied nature to how we negotiate, compromise would flourish and the world would be perfect. Christians would quit quoting scripture and actually start behaving like Jesus would want. Husbands would stop trading in their wives for a younger newer model. The ratio of Tops to Bottoms in LA would be split down the middle Then catch yourself. ?And slowly allow yourself to let a little bit of truth in. And give a couple examples of an absolute undeniable, impossible to argue, beacon of glaring ‘truthy truth’ laser focused on your gut as it finally penetrates deep inside your soul and you know. That hard as you try, you will never be able to see that as complete beings… maybe it’s faulty wiring, maybe God intensionally corrupted something in their DNA to give contrast to the light. And yeah, go ahead, now is the time to mention a bit bigotry, fear, hypocrisy, greed, ?desperation for the the rapture and obviously you have to mention fluoride and the pineal gland- and then of course end of a question. Maybe the answer is way simpler- I wonder if it’s something as basic as they just have smaller dicks? That would explain a lot. Damn, I might be a little ?shut down, venomous and ?desperate ratemwould be can’t see them as something with ?unravel14 percent of us are still unemployed or underemployed, almost a quarter of the nation’s children are in poverty, inequality continues to widen, guns are ubiquitous, climate change is a growing threat, and our democracy is available to the highest bidder.

2. Alchemy: This is your how you get into the video of Christine O’Donnell begging us to believe she is not a witch. This is where we can have some fun, talk a little dirty, maybe get a little discombobulated and accidentally/on purpose, go off on some tangents, maybe get a little lost in where you are taking your readers but not so much that they lose focus- it needs to feel mindless and frayed but has to still be riveting and highly educational in only the way, learning something you never imagined even existed… until you did- and this new information is utterly useless in it’s practicality but still the thrill of excitement that you now are privy to something hidden, magical and rare. And that is where you can point to this moment in time when you first saw this video, it hit you. You knew that you had to be a part of this crazy circus… the chaos was intoxicating and for the first time in your life, you realized that the Game of Politics was something you could never get tired of writing about.

Even though you’ve dabbled in a tad bit of ?witchcraft once upon a time; maybe cast a spell or two on that bitch on your cheerleading squad who you knew was putting naughty thoughts into all boys heads that you fancied? Yes, this is a “Dog Whistle” to My People exposing you Devil Worshipping Sheeple clinging to your guns, fingering your Man-written Bibles and your Bigot-loving Demigods like Rush Limbaugh and those other blights of disharmony… the ones who lead you astray in the name of a false Christ.
