Sarah Palin Hints At Jumping From The Broken GOP To Newly Formed Freedom Party (VIDEO)

While most people would want to ignore anything having to do with Sarah Palin, this might be one that you would want to take note of. Besides having a book in the works about the alleged ‘war on Christmas’ it seems that this hockey mom turned politician turned Fox News contributor is thinking of dumping the GOP for another party all together. In a recent interview with Fox News, she sounded genuinely interested in a proposal to join the newly for Freedom Party.

In the interview, she talks about working with conservative talk radio host Mark Levin. While many may not recognize the name, he is a well-known figure in those familiar with right wing. His following isn’t nearly as huge as Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, but it’s nothing to sneeze at with over 400,000 likes on Facebook and over 200,000 followers on Twitter. Politically, he is very much like Limbaugh and Beck in that he’s willing to bash anything that gets in the way of his fantasy-derived agenda of a world that will never be. He’s been known to bash his many high ranking Republicans including John Boehner and Paul Ryan.

So what exactly is the basis of this new Freedom Party? At first, glance it looks like more of the same. It’s a mix of Libertarianism along with the usual Redneck style of capitalization. Overall, it’s a lot of generalizations with no substance at all.

Freedom Party’s commitment to human dignity and freedom is reflected in the principle which guides the party’s policies: ?Every individual, in the peaceful pursuit of personal fulfillment, has an absolute right to his or her own life, liberty, and property.?

So will Sarah Palin be the Moses to all those who have all but abandoned the GOP? Perhaps, but it is more likely just a way for her to promote herself. Those Republicans who espouse misinformation as facts will likely fade back into the woodwork once they are defeated in the next round of elections. Let’s hope so. There’s a lot of work to be done, and even more work to be undone.
